So thankful to be on this amazing trip. God is so good and I feel like every experience here brings me closer to God and His love and plan for me. Visited a new school today and we were able to teach them about God and how He is the Creator. Had fun playing games and making crafts with all of the kids today as well. Took some pictures of some kids holding up their crafts and they thought seeing themselves and their craft on the camera was the best thing ever. All the believers here are so passionate about their faith and it is a great encouragment. Having so much fun!!! Thank you all for your prayers.

Hola. Things are going pretty well here... Today was the hottest day so far, but near dinner time there was some serious rain (really the first rain we've experienced). Today we did a kid's club in a new village and then went back to the village from yesterday to finish up the eye check ups for the adults of the village. It's great being with the people and being able to help them see better. We also got to go to the church service, which was an awesome experience. Although we weren't able to understand any of the words spoken or sung, it was wonderful to know that we were all there worshipping the same God. So please keep praying for us tomorrow! Thank you.

This trip has been an amazing experience and we only have a few days left. The views of the Guatemalan mountains are stunning. The weather has been beautiful (hardly any rain), and we've met some wonderful people. But the truly amazing thing is how God is working in the lives of the students on this trip. They are excited and willing to serve, they're getting along well with each other and they have great attitudes inspite of a few minor sore throats and upset stomachs. All in all, we're very pleased with how everything is going and we're looking forward to getting home and sharing more about this great adventure.
Thanks for all the prayers.
PS. To all the parents: You have wonderful kids who should make you very proud! It's a joy to be down here and serve the Lord with them.

From General Alexander Strauch, head of the royal forces of the King of Kings:
ReplyDeleteDear soldiers of the Great King,
You are waging a great warfare. You are showing yourselves true soldiers of the Lord of Lords and King of Kings. Do not wane in the battle. Press harder as you come closer to the final day of your return to Colorado. People are being touched by the Great King as you represent him as his army of warriors. Let them see what true soldiers of Christ are like. Eternal issues are at stake. Lives are at stake. The testimony and glory of God is at stake. You are involved in a great effort to spread the name of our Great King throughout the dark world.
I've been following the blog and things seem to be going so well, praise the Lord.
ReplyDeleteI pray every day for each of you and can hardly believe the time is almost over.
We are so thankful for each one of you and look forward to hearing all about your
time. Much love and continued prayers.
